Dianela is an interdisciplinary Cuban American costumer based in New York. She is an avid maker and designer for theater and dance. She is a Point Park University alumni with a degree in theatre production with a focus is Costume Design. Born to a family of seamstresses and artists she has always been influenced by the art of her culture and family.

Her passions for the arts range to many different specialities such as design, garment construction, painting, dramaturgy and wardrobe. Currently working as a freelance designer and a member of the 764 Wardrobe Union with her hands in a variety of positions. She aims to keep her creative mind active with new projects.
